Whether you like rock, country, blues, jazz, classical, or world music, Taos offers something for every music lover. You can enjoy nightly performances at several area bars, attend annual festivals or see a performance at the Taos Center for the Arts or area museums. Plus, free weekly music is offered in the plaza downtown on Thursday nights during the summer.

The Taos Center for the Arts features Music from Angel Fire in the summer with renowned international chamber music artists. They offer additional concerts throughout the year as well as movies, dance, theater and other performances.

If you’d like to hear music that is also broadcast live on local radio, check out the KTAOS Solar Center. Web: http://ktao.com/SolarCenter/ With weekly performances, it is a nationally recognized live music venue. The Center also provides a full service bar and restaurant.

The Taos Chamber Music Group holds concerts from September through June. Their repertoire includes not only Baroque and contemporary works but also lesser known chamber music works, with compositions by Latin American, Spanish, Native American, Baltic, Middle Eastern, women and jazz composers.
