A beautiful, secluded getaway! This home was wonderful! It was clean with a nice mountain cabin feel. The setting outside was our favorite. Several patios to take in the beautiful views. Everything worked great and we definitely recommend choosing this home as your vacation spot! - C. Gonzalez

Dreamy place to stay...Casa La Ceja looked really nice in the photos, totally exceeded our expectations!! We were wowed by every aspect of the property. The location: high in the mountains. So much privacy. Sweeping views of the mountains. So amazingly quiet and peaceful. The only sounds are birds singing and insects. The house itself. Just beautiful!!! From the soft curves of the Adobe walls, the lovely Art work and furniture, the lighting, the cozy attic room with private deck, the landscaped yard, with lavender and rock gardens, benches and wind chimes! We cooked both breakfast and dinner here every day of our stay. I hardly wanted to go explore New Mexico because I felt so at he here. But explore we did. And had one of the best vacations ever, in jaw dropping beautiful New Mexico. - K. Lenhan

We were lucky to have found this place. Away from all the civilized commotion... a real Taos countryside experience. The house is perched on a foothill to the mountains with a gorgeous view of the valley. However, it is at just the right altitude to avoid seeing all the lights of Taos and the surrounding countryside at night. Very romantic, more downhome and "rustic" than we thought from the photos. Multi-level (4 or 5) home was such a delight and the Master Bedroom at the top level with porch rocks. House is a great example of building on a hillside without changing the hill. House belongs to the earth without tearing it up. Kudos to the designer. Most every room beckons you to have a relationship with the outdoors. No complaints at all. If you were to stay at a higher end place in Taos, you wouldn't come close to all that you get for the same rate renting a whole house in the beautiful country. We came for a romantic visit to the town of Taos but the house, the view and its location captured the focal point of our wonderful memories. Someday we will come back...not so much to visit Taos (which was great) but to be in that special house once again. - Rusty Scapiron, Wyoming

We stayed at the main house for a week in the summer and loved it. It is perfectly placed between the Taos Ski Area and the desert beauty of Arroyo Hondo. The best of all worlds. The main bedroom, while not entirely private, is one of the most romantic rooms I have encountered. The deck off the bedroom was perfect for morning and evenings to quietly read and enjoy a coffee or a glass wine at either sunrise or sunset. The family room and kitchen are big, well-appointed and bright. Overall, the house is spacious, very clean, in mint condition, and it is wonderfully secluded…ahhhh, the views! We cannot recommend this place more highly. - M. Zipper, NY, NY
