Owner's statement: Welcome to Hale de Taos. "Hale" Hawaiian for "House" combines our Hawaiian heritage and our love for Taos."

This gracious home was completed in 2002 and was designed to capture the spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains including the majestic Wheeler Peak up at Taos Ski Valley. The oversized windows in dining and living rooms provide MILLION DOLLAR views and allow guests to watch the sunrise over the mountains while eating breakfast at the dining table or while relaxing in the spacious living room.

Enjoy the splendor of sunsets from the large flagstone main patio (with spa) or lounge in the privacy of the master bedroom patio. Surrounded by the comforts of old world furnishings from England, France and Mexico you will be captured by the charm not only of this home but also by the natural sagebrush surroundings so acclaimed by years of Taos visitors.

PREMIERE PROPERTIES POLICIES

RESERVATIONS: Are confirmed & property is taken off market when contract is completely filled in and received by Premiere. For reservations made more than 30 days from arrival, 50% deposit is to be paid by check due within 7 days of booking. Balance can be paid by check or Master Card/Visa and is due 30 days before arrival (60 days Xmas/NY's, Spring Break and reservations of 14 or more nights). Reservations made within 30 days of arrival will be charged to a Visa or Mastercard.

CHECK IN: Check-in is anytime after 4 pm. Check-out is no later than 10:00 am so housekeeping can be ready for next party arrival at 4:00 pm.

CANCELLATION POLICY: More than 30 days before arrival (60 days Xmas/NY's, Spring Break, and reservations of 14 or more nights) cancellation fee is 21% of total reservation. Less than 30 days before arrival, (60 days Xmas/NY's, Spring Break, and reservations of 14 or more nights) forfeiture of 100% of full reservation unless property is rebooked for entire stay at same rate. If booked for less, refund portion will be prorated (less the 21% cancellation fee). There are no refunds for late arrival or early departure.
Travel Insurance coverage provided by Travel Guard is optional. Please call Travel Guard for more information.

CUSTOMER SERVICE: Each property has a private caretaker to assist guests with maintenance issues, lost keys, directions, etc. Guest is to contact caretaker for such issues. If there is an urgent matter and caretaker does not respond with 30 minutes guest should then call Premiere at.

DEPARTURE: Property is to be left in good order by following the printed guidelines in each home. Should the guidelines be missing common sense should rule. Should property be left in poor order please read "SECURITY DEPOSIT" below.
GUEST POLICY: Should there be more overnight guests (including children) other than number disclosed in contract (other than prior approved visits) the party will be required to immediately vacate the premises without refund and full security deposit will be forfeited. If a large party gathers without prior disclosure to "Premiere" the full security deposit shall be forfeited and party will immediately terminate.

SECURITY DEPOSIT PER DWELLING: Debit Cards will be pre-authorized for $525. Should damages or extra cleaning occur, my credit card will be charged $500.00 dollars plus a $25.00 dollar non-refundable service charge. Premiere Properties will send $500 to the homeowner along with my name, address, email and phone number. Prorated refund will be returned directly by Homeowner. Evidence of unauthorized pets or smoking in the house will result in forfeiture of full security deposit. (see direction sheet for partial explanation of possible damages) Premiere Properties will be held harmless and will not be involved in damage negotiations.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: This property is privately owned & cared for. Premiere Properties is acting as Reservation Service only for the use of the subject property. For homes with hot tubs, I understand the risks of hot tub/Jacuzzi use, and recognize that for some people adverse reactions can occur, including but not limited to skin rash. Neither Premiere Properties, nor the Owner or their Agents will be held liable or responsible for personal injury, accidents, loss of life, valuables or personal property due to fire, theft, neglect, or any catastrophe or natural disaster which might occur at the above named property during the above stated time period. If this property becomes unavailable, due to unforeseen circumstances, I understand Premiere Properties will do all possible to move my party to an equal or upgraded option.
PAYMENT: All funds due within 30 days of arrival (60 days Christmas, New Year, Spring Break and reservations of 14 or more days). 50% deposit of total reservation due by check within 7 days of booking.

Great, great house. We are just back from a winderful five days at this property. Not far from Taos but gas and supermarket within easy reach. Quiet and peaceful and could see the stars at night! HUGE house with plenty of room to relax and sleep. Everything you would need in a kitchen - down to salt and pepper and olive oil! Just bring the food. Love that! Clean, warm and just a wonderful adobe house with can hot tub! We will be back! - M. Ryan

Hale de Taos, Fantastic House - Five Stars! Hale de Taos is the perfect home base for all of the happenings in the area. It is a beautiful house, extremely clean, great landscaping, and had all the amenities that we needed on our vacation. It has a beautiful view of the mountains and is in a nice quiet neighborhood only 5-6 minutes from the Taos Plaza area. The rental process was very easy and professional. I would recommend this house to anyone. It is actually larger than it looks in the pictures. I would also recommend the Taos Fly Shop and their guide service. Overall we had a great time and fantastic accommodations during our stay at Hale de Taos. - D. Stewart

Best vacation ever! This was the best vacation rental we have ever rented. The house was light and bright. It had a great courtyard with green grass. The heated tile floors were very welcome on several chilly mornings. We enjoyed the hot tub one evening. The house was furnished very well. It was very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was provided. We just needed our clothes and toothbrush. We will be back!! - S. Teague

Great vacation rental for the "Holidays"! We have used Premiere Properties for other stays in Taos. They have always been very prompt and professional with bookings and their properties are always in great locations and very nice. Hale de Taos has been our favorite house so far. Beautiful House! Amazing views! Our family of 5 enjoyed staying at Hale de Taos.. The house is beautiful, the views are amazing and the location only 15 minutes from the ski slopes. The rooms are very spacious, the TV/Internet work great. The house has nice furniture, super comfortable leather recliners and sofa and very interesting decorative items. Beautiful home. Great location. We really enjoyed the setting and spent several full days skiing. Was a great location for getting to the slopes and also for making morning runs to Michael's Kitchen for breakfast. Good afternoon: We rented a property through your agency in December (from Dec 23rd to Dec 30th). It is "Hale de Taos" located on the mesa in "upper las colonias". On behalf of my family and myself, we would like to let you know that we were very pleased with your organization when we contacted you in October. Everything went smoothly. Also, your rental house was fabulous. It was very clean, charming and welcoming and was decorated with a lot of taste. Hale de Taos is also conveniently located and has magnificent views all day long. We will not hesitate to recommend you and your choice of places to rent to our family and friends.
